Agree with you on the super bowl but all police in the NOLA area have probably been working all day. Are they still hunting for suspects? Seems like you'd need to rest/reorganize before holding a major event in that city.

I haven't heard, but I'd bet some national guard will be deployed and probably additional FBI, Homeland Security, and Secret Service.
 
So UGAg is going to have to beat ND, Penn State and either Ohio State or Texas for the 3rd time.
 
Listened to Texas game on way to Savannah on 680 app. Local broadcast with the "Rhonda Rocks!" SEC goober doing color. I swear he said "we" when talking about Texas.
 
Boy another SECheat team aided by a blatantly blown call. ASU receiver gets targeted in final minute of regulation that would have given them the ball in OSU territory, yet even after reviewing and obviously seeing he Texas DB initiate contact with the crown of the helmet the head ref determines there is no targeting. It was textbook targeting.

I also was in transit yesterday and listened to that annoying 680 guy Chuck might be his name. He was the worse color guy I have ever heard he would not shut up. Even talked over the play by play guy.

Word from a friend with emergency management in NO is that the Army and other branches are sending in Military Police to assist.
 
I couldn't imagine being at a football game in NOLA tonight. It's going to be such a weird and creepy environment.

Going to be hard for all fine GT men and women to pull for the Irish. Just leaves a taste in your mouth saying nice things about ND. But Coach Dodd would frown on you for pulling for Georgie in any sport. So with that said, a good ND victory will shut the AJC Nad Licking rag down for a day or 2. Just hear Munson now 'oh they been on the field a long time'. So off the the kitchen for some bourbon and ice to watch a game, sound will be off, tired of the love fest with the Nad Lickers.
