From somebody who used to listen to Art Bell back in the day, that isn’t tinfoil territory at all. The AD is the one who should announce the firing to everybody. If the AD is also being fired, the communications gets delayed.

Kind of. It's threatening to be a Pepper Rodgers situation with Stansbury, so the board is having to go through lawyers for everything which is slowing it all down.

Art Bell was the master of tin foil territory. The Kingdom of Nye. Fell asleep listening to Coast to Coast many times waaay back when. 20 years ago? Back to reality, I hope TS is canned today.

This may not be mismanagement. In fact this may be by the book management to avoid a bigger issue. Reading between the lines it looks like Todd is being a bitch about getting fired and they’re having to go through the motions line by line to keep him from having some sort of recourse.

He’s probably in debt and really needs the money.
 
FWIW, I dont believe it was a major screw up by the athletic department to not notify the players. I have heard that this was all leaked by the ajc/Ken before even Collins himself had been told.

It's also been less than 48 hours since the loss @UCF, and less than two business hours. I know everyone on here was ready to fire both of them immediately and even in the AA it was probably a foregone conclusion based on Saturday's result, but actually doing this type of thing takes time in any big organization.

Probably much easier if it's just the HC, not both the HC and AD.
