Great. Then a Cincy team with a lame duck or interim HC gets in the playoffs - an even weaker hurdle for the Mutts.

I hope the committee has the sense to realize UCinn is not one of the best 4 teams. Even better, UofH beats them this weekend.

He's gone to the BCS title game/CFP three seasons in the past decade. I realize he hasn't ever actually won it, but man...it's not easy to get so close, especially in the SEC. If I were him I would've stayed in South Bend.

Maybe part of it is also that he's just ready for a change of scenery? 11 years is pretty long to be in one place.

And the mega SEC is going to be the place to be in a couple more years.
