I'm taking my kids (6yo and 3yo) to Wake, but I almost don't want to because of the negativity. Might just take them to the upper north to let them run around.

I've never understood why people spend so much time and money going to football games to be miserable and make everybody around them miserable? It's mostly people that make me miserable, and so when I'm miserable I want to be alone away from people. Not football assholes. They're miserable, they come to the game miserable, they're miserable when we don't score quick enough, they're miserable when we score too quickly. I can only assume it's a form of display. i.e., I may not be good at anything else, but I will kick your butt when it comes to being the most miserable. I'm not saying you can't be PO'ed at the way we play, or how the game turned out. But why do you have to make everyone else share your pain. Wait till you get home and tell your dog all about it, not me and my wife sitting near you.

I actually show my ass more when I’m home watching games. There I get drunker and I’m free to get all pissed off and go sit in the back yard and pout. When I go to games, I’m usually in a pretty good mood because I’m in one of my favorite places.

This is me except I curse at the refs sometimes. I usually only sit when the offense is on the field because I want it to be quiet for them to hear audibles. I tend to raise hell when the defense is on the field. The most obnoxious I’ve ever been was when Gotsis got called for targeting. That was beyond buttmad for me. That was buttrage.
 
This whole football weekend was a total bust. Tech loses, Florida loses and then to top it off the dang Falcons lose.. Well, time to look ahead, Waffle House and football next weekend!!

I don’t think that is so crazy. We’ve had our fair share of super negative posters and they either eventually just give up and stop posting or head towards other more negative focused Tech message boards.

Some of the negative posters went to TheSwarm. I found out yesterday they have a rule against calling someone names. Moron was the forbidden word in a thread about how we never beat good teams. It’s a nice message board, but the no name calling rule could provide a safe space for negative Nancys.

As much as Mark Richt always seems like an oompa loompa and we hated him at ugay, he sure can coach football, I will give him that, but I think we lost cause we really weren't prepared to play in the rain on Saturday, dangit if it wasn't for that rain we could've won.

VPI and Clemson can and will be gotten. They're sandwiched by three team-building exercises in Wake, Virginia and Duke. The only thing that should worry anyone is the trap game we close the season with.

At a NYE party last year, some dude told me that we suck because of Paul Johnson -who should be fired - and the option is garbage (this was a few weeks after we had beaten UGA for the second time in three years). After the Clemson/Buckeyes game was over, he announced that Clemson would lose because they always choke - right after Clemson shut out Meyer on national televison.

What the öööö drives people to be so negative? And if you are negative, why be such a basic bitch about it? Nobody needs to hear you repeat dumbass opinions immediately after those opinions are proven wrong.
