Max pain I think is UGA has to bow out of the first game, Bama then beats Cincy in a squeaker and wins a 2 point 4OT with Michigan for the title. They'd be crying about it for decades, and you can reopen the wound by just repeating that they lost to Bama by wider margins than either other team so they'd probably have just lost in the first round anyway.

Next best is everyone has to bow out and we have no CFP champion this year, then AP votes Bama as #1, old style. Then you reopen the wound when they cry about what could've been by just saying "Man, God really hates UGA football, doesn't he?"

I think this might actually be max pain, the “what may have been” scenario provides some comfort in the hope that they WOULD’VE been title winners if not for COVID.
