Just returned from an FCA fundraiser at which CGC spoke. (Were any of you there, too?) Thought I'd share some of this comments for those with an interest in every drop of juice they can get...

As an aside, you used numbers 4 and 5 twice. Are you testing our attention to detail or does CGC need to have a one-on-one talk with you?

Sure. They had the holy grail of football—a dline that can get pressure/disrupt without having to blitz. Throw in a good coordinator and you can see how they were close to being undefeated that season.

Wouldn’t have mattered what scheme GT ran with how good they were upfront.

Even still, it was a 3 point game until about 4 minutes left. ;)

“Love your players” hits home and certainly a change!

I don’t think this is a change. I think CPJ loved his players. It was just more of a 1930s style of strict fatherly love (like the dad in A Christmas Story). I never got the idea he did not care about players though.
