Just read in Ken's article in the AUC that we paid The Citadel $400,000 to play us.

This just keeps getting better ...

Everyone always mentions this...it’s dumb. This is true for every FCS-FBS game.

Yeah yeah, that's always how it is with these little school games.

Tired of that overdone storyline, "OMG they lost and they paid them for it". Actually $400k is pretty average

I suggest our staff separates the "gamers" from "ATL practice players"

Hmm, we did get screwed on the timeout didn't we? I remember now that the ref did say that the clock would start on the SNAP. It started on the spot. That screw-up by the refs cost us the game

I wondered why we were just taking our merry time

The coaches weren't the ones in the trenches getting knocked on their butts by an OL that was obviously bigger, stronger and faster.

Agree.
But he would also go to some meaningless bowl, lose to a Minnesota and sign another class in February that offered us no upward movement over the long haul.
It's called "rebuilding". Give it time. Dabo and Saban had the same growing pains, but they inherited rosters that were magnitudes more talented than the on CJC inherited.
So who is CJC? Do you even know who the moron on the sidelines is?

We have a general manager
We have a chief of staff
We have a brand manager
We have a “juice crew”

And we just got our asses kicked by a team that lost to Towson and Elon

Nope!
Not Collins fault.
It's crystal clear the guys wearing white were bigger, stronger and faster.
This L goes to PJ and years of recruiting classes finishing closer to 100 than to 50.

Collins wlil win. And GT will once again be sending players to the NFL. But it's going to take a full recruiting cycle of 3 or 4 years.
This is completely ööööing wrong.

Dave Patenaude needs to name Tobias Oliver the starter or resign
At a minimum, I think we need to settle in to what our offensive identity is going to be this year and consistently run that. With all the QB changing, we just aren't able to get into any kind of rhythm.

Edited to say that I do think that identity is still a run-oriented team.
