Congrats, Todd Stansbury was a Tech man too. And both of y’all are absolute retards. You continue to support one of, if not the worst coach in college football right now, and the worst coach in Tech history. You suck him off like you suck off your boyfriend every night. Who gives a rats ass how much money you gave? Where’s that money gonna be when you keal over and die? Nobody in this board agrees with you. No Tech fan, or Tech men agree with you. To be frankly honest, I never wanted to go to Tech. It’s not my scene, and they didn’t have my major. But I’m still a bigger Tech fan than you, and I want to see success, which isn’t seen with sucking off Collins. Hell, I’ve had beef with guys like @JJacket and @GTRules and @jts1207 but what’s funny, is that they actually had wits about them. You’re just flat out stupid and blind.

I’ve been a season ticket holder since I’ve graduated.
I’ve been in a family of ticket holders since I was born.

I don’t think I can go to another game. I’ll give my money for the tickets. I’ll renew because I’m a hapless loyalist. But this isn’t worth my time anymore.

Quit jumping to conclusions before you throw your hip out of joint. If you think cheering for this joke of a coach is supporting the team, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. People are laughing at the team which means they are laughing at you. I wanted Collins to win and do well. It is painfully obvious to me and to the whole football world he is in well over his head. He will never get better. This is what we have become - a laughingstock and I am NOT happy about that and it is pathetic to know you are an apologist.
 
Maybe we can't fire Collins due to the buyout. But for goodness sakes can we fire Brent Key? At least with Thacker I feel like we ae getting what we are paying for, a bargain basement DC; but with Key we are paying top dollar.

Move Key to interim HC per his current title. Promote someone to OL. Can’t lovse any worse. Maybe Key will be a good HC, who knows, and can land a HC job from the interim position. Atleast there’s continuity for the rest of the season and we can get a jump on the coaching/AD hire.
Who knows… this is a disaster.

it can. Key is a terrible coach. Was a terrible OC and is now a terrible position coach. His unit is tied with the coach’s for worst on the team for a few seasons running now.

Don’t need a crystal ball to know how that clown will do.

Being a bad OL coach under CGC doesn’t mean he was bad a Alabama or that he would be a bad head coach. For all we know thing would be very different, not rotating guys on the OL, playing different players at other positions, preparing differently, etc.

This season is garbage if we keep do the same thing. Key is the assistant head coach. He slides to head coach if CGC is fired mid season. No way will it be worse. Promote someone else to OL coach. Juice crew, money down, player management, time management, and the scout team practices all change quickly. We’re going to be 1-4 no matter what, maybe Key gets something going to make sure we win Duke and Virginia. Then maybe steal a game down the stretch. Show some progress, etc and set up the new AD to hire a new head coach that can figure out the NIL money situation and get a solid head coach in here so in a year or two we’re back in bowl games and playing something that looks like football.

“I’ve been a Tech fan X number of years and I’ve given Y amount of money to the program, my opinion matters more” posts are the dumbest öööö on the entire board. There’s no way to confirm the first two statements, and if you sound like a dumbass you’re a dumbass. I know a good number of you start off with this, stop it. You ain’t impressing anyone.

David Turner is also Assistant Head Coach, and at this point knowing very little about him, I would take him over Key all day.

I noticed that, but have no experience hearing him speak in a press conference. Thought maybe he was assistant to the head coach.

If CGC is fired, one of those 2 slide up. We aren’t paying the buyout and bringing in an outside interim coach in addition to the current staff. Or maybe we do, nothing makes sense anymore.

Could definitely be not fired, 2 away losses, then chances for 2 home wins gets you 7 games deep into the season and just ride it out and save the buyout that could have been paid last year.
