Chair-back "Stinger?" seats

The make your butt sweat. Should be called Stinger butt sweat seats... Not worth the price. Stand and cheer. Nothing better than sitting on a Vinyl coated pad. The stinger seats suck.

If you put an early deposit down you should have gotten a call from ticket office to finalize your purchase and pick seats. Got mine done today. Stinger seats are $45 extra per seat for the season. I don't need the seat I just want to have the defined space. We bought cheap tickets because we probably wont make all the games, and I'll just pay the $10 to rent them when we get to the game if it's a game I think will be packed and want to be sure I have my defined space. Plus if you rent them at the game, they haven't already been installed and likely rained on.
I thought active season ticket holders did not need to put down a deposit?

The first few rows of 101 and 102 are the worse for freeloaders. I had seats there a few years back and almost fighting Tech fans each game. There are a lot of recent Greek grads in that section it seems, and current Greeks end up there by the end of the game. Lots of them and about 1/2 were sloppy drunk. öööö that section.

With all due respect your honor, those seem like really shitty seats? I think I’m going to move to 225 this year

If you had season tickets last year, you did not have to put down a deposit. Today was the first day for people who did put down a deposit this year.
I gave up my season tickets 4 years ago because I had only made one game of the previous 3 years and had ended up giving away my tickets every game due to baseball coaching commitments.
Now that I have given up coaching, I purchased season tickets again.

Section 107 Row 11. Tried to get Club seats but there's a waiting list and I wasn't willing to shell out an additional $7K over and above the $2200 to get high enough on the priority list to get 2 seats there.

I guess my question is, when can I secure my seats?

I would assume today....well tomorrow now that the office is closed. Call the office tomorrow and ask but the way it was explained to me, if you want to keep your seats from last year, they'll be held for you.

Got it. Sent my rep an email. He’s usually good about harassing the f out of me when it means me giving money up

It's strange to me that they start offering open seats to new STH before existing STH. We're going from 3 to 2 seats and will likely need to move to avoid leaving a single empty seat and it would be nice to get dibbs in the order of AT ranking since those points aren't good for much else.

Yeah I don't get the logic either. But FWIW, I had season tickets for 18 years so it's not like I don't have a decent AT ranking as well. I just chose not to keep the tickets for the past 4 years since I wasn't getting the chance to come to games with my baseball team playing a 40 game fall schedule.

Pretty sure you can get that priority. Just call up and talk to them about re-seating.

I have not heard from my season ticket rep which is unusual. Oh well.

My Dad had a set of four season tickets at Alabama for a few decades. He used to famously buy one (and only one) fitted stadium seat to keep his heavy seat neighbors from "spilling into his seats."
