Chop Blocks ... You da real MVP

The below sounds about right. I am tired of the complaining by a team that got their butt kicked. There is absolutely no evidence that more players get hurt in Tech games than other games - none!!!! And it is clearly whining.

Here is the deal from a media contact of mine that was on the sideline.

Stoops was upset because he thought Bell had been clipped when he got injured. We all know that replays show he was blocked straight up and he was rolled up on by a fellow Kentucky player.

When Stoops went on to the field yelling at the referees, a GT assistant or operations staff person yelled out for him to stop whining. Stoops then turned to Paul Johnson and yelled at him saying that he would not be talked to like that by his staff. Paul told him to get back to his sideline. Of course the conversation had a few expletives....not G rated. :)

My biggest surprise(though really it shouldn't) is that the ref listened to his whining without flagging him. The coach is allowed to check on an injure player but not jaw at the refs.

If it happened as stated, the refs did a very, very bad job of handling this.

Per those wise Kentucky fans (and apparently their "coach"), we're dirty. Did y'all know kids' "futures are at stake" out there? Oh please. 99% of them dudes will be going "pro" in something other than football.

OMFG, is there a more ill-informed fanbase out there w.r.t. football? Maybe Duke but it's close.

Ha. I can't see anything because the link goes to Error, but the replays of the kids that got hurt clearly show no contact below the waist.

Did he complained in the weeks leading up while watching film? They act like this was a surprise.

Aw that's some bull, they deleted the thread. A guy was basically saying that, since we cut blocked (aka blocked legally), that kids' futures were at stake and that he hoped we had leg injuries from now on, blah, blah, blah ...

Football, at it's most basic, is about whooping the ass of the man who lines up across from you. Georgia Tech's players whooped the brown runny out of their counterparts on Kentucky all game long. Kentucky fans' excuses are a coping mechanism for their embarrassment that Georgia Tech challenged and completely took away their team's manhood and heart. There's other things that factored into this game, like the idiotic way Kentucky lined up against the 3O most of the game, but their team didn't have the heart to win the game as soon as Tech turned it into a fistfight in a phone booth, so how they lined up would've made very little difference in the end equation.

Glad it's already getting into the heads of Tennessee's fans. Hope it filters down to their players. Would love to see Tech's line play and overall blocking gain a consistency game to game and year to year where "cut block o'clock" really does gain its own mystique, because it's the kind of thing you can beat mentally weak teams with before they ever take the field.

SEC fans are pretty stupid.

They didn't lose because of cut blocks or whatever nonsense they think. They lost because they're a trash team that hasn't made a bowl game in half a decade and they play in a trash division and live in the shadow of Alabama's dick.

And they got dominated on both the offensive and defensive lines, and were outplayed at every single position group, and their coaching staff would have to work their way up to standing in the shadows of our coaching staff's collective and metaphorical D. Aside from that, they were basically the better team.

The announcer did a great job during the game of showing the claims to be false

Their linemen got hurt against normal blocking and not cut blocking

Parker's clip on the first drive was pretty nasty.

And I love it.

I saw on Facebook where UK had hands on our facemasks a few times. Anyone see that? I think it was a Twitter post actually.

Every article on Kentucky Sports adio complains about the cut blocks. It's hilarious.

Good teams never bitch about cut blocks because 1) they are capable of winning football games unlike Kentucky's water trash team and 2) they do it themselves. I'll give it to UGA fans, even they aren't dumb enough to complain about a basic (and pretty beatable) blocking technique.

Did our cut blocks keep them out of the endzone until the 4th quarter?
