Chop Blocks ... You da real MVP

Note to Tennessee defensive linemen - you will be the first to officially be cut blocked in the new stadium. Think about it. See you in September.
 
I heard this guy was a lineman on the last Tennessee team to play the option. Look what happened to him.

Well we got called for 1 Chop Block and it was bogus. Maybe Kentucky should just start a flag football team.
 
So long as we're keeping score, they got away with what should have been targeting. I believe it was on a kickoff, but it had to have been in the 3rd quarter since it was right in front of us with Tech taking the ball the other way.

Thought we got called for two chop blocks. One was absolutely bogus. Believe it was the second one.

Yes that definitely should have been targeting. I think that was the play where offsetting personal fouls were called after the play.

Also, WTF was with the penalty on the GT sideline after the blocked punt? 3 Kentucky assholes came over to our sideline to start shit after we blocked the punt then we get flagged for it.

It was still kind of a shitty call though imo. I watched the TV replay yesterday and the flag wasn't thrown until it was mostly broken up and guys were heading back to the sidelines. I guess somebody said a little too much there near the end.

You are correct. I had to go back and look. One beer all day, and I'm doubting my memory still. I was correct it was in the 3rd Q. It was the kickoff to open the 2nd half. Cottrell got nailed on a helmet to helmet with his coming off. A little pushing and shoving occurred right after with the offsetting PFs that you mention occuring.

Also, the first "chop block" was the clipping that has been mentioned. So, maybe only one which was bogus.
 
I bet Nick Saban can't even bite a taco without a Wildcat, Tiger or Bulldog diving between his legs to catch the crumbs.

It's a wonder I remember the game at all, too. Zero beers all day (well until I got home, then alot). Stayed up til 1:30 Friday night to watch Ronda Rousey get her ass whipped, slept for about 3 hours, got up and drove 4 hours to JAX, made it through the whole game standing 90% of the time, drove 4 hours home, steamed oysters with friends for NYE party and finally got home around 4am Sunday. Had a blast though and met @JWilly at the game. Was going to come over and meet you @Akinji07 but y'all left before I did and never came back.

How did you manage to meet JWilly and miss me? We were on the same row. @whenyousaybud was two rows behind me. I barely remember the second half, I was pretty lit by then. I do remember booing and cussing at Frank Beamer because I saw his face on the jumbotron and offending a bunch of nice Tech folks around me.

I didn't miss you, I saw you, just didn't get down to the end of the row to talk to you. Every other time I looked that way you were gone to the beer stand. :rotfl: It was you and whoever was beside you, then a woman and her daughter. My son and me were between them and Jwilly and the other 2 guys with y'all.
