Isn't that the other way around? If there was no GOR, the ACC would probably look worse that the PAC and Big 12 already.

It just seems to me that the GOR surviving will be the end of the ACC one way or the other. Either schools will find a way to escape legally or they will begrudgingly ride out their commitment but either way nothing but pure hate will remain for the ACC brand and any remaining leadership. Call it the Martin Shkreli effect.
