Bill Curry absolutely took credit for his recruits during an interview during one of the late season 1990 games.

Well if he had stayed then maybe he could have coached the team to a Natty and we could have built great 90s teams too. He could have had a statue on campus and we could have said Bobby Dodd stadium at Curry field.

But he left us and got run out of Alabama.
