Colors for the Week

When you say they are the same color do you mean they have the same RGB? I'm not denying your expertise. But even if they are the same they don't look the same. Could you change the color rating of the helmet to better match the color of the fabric? Also doesn't the base color of the material effect the color you put on top of if? I'm pretty sure Tech hasn't changed their helmet color since 2018.

Tech was able to match their fabrics and helmets in the past. Tech had a darker gold helmet before Adidas came in. When we got Adidas the helmets were lighter. In 2008 during the mustard gold experiment the helmets were made to match the fabrics.

Fix the dumb piping on the '08 GWG and those uniforms are awesome.

Maybe I'm just color-illiterate, but it almost looks like these are 2 different base-colors for the helmets. I agree the light source has a big effect, but are the stadium lights overpowering the flat lighting of the sky? The sky looks almost identical between the 2 pictures.

They definitely put the wrong helmet on in the first picture. Those are clearly different helmets

If you look close above the ATL on the left, someone is holding up what looks like the same kind of light which produces the color in the right photo. There is just a small little patch of it, but you can see that one light in the left trying to do the same as a stadium full of them on the right.

Those helmets are ALMOST right.

Lose the GT. We need a ööööing yelow jacket on our helmet. A white helmet with a golden yellow jacket. Most awesome helmet in college football.
