Committable 2019 offers?

I just went to 247 class rankings, instinctually scrolled to the bottom to hit "display more" then couldn't find us. It's a good feeling, even if it's just Top 50.

Our staff is on fire. Love this swagger.

I hope all of our offers are committable. I appreciated that CPJ was such a straight shooter in that department.
To follow up on this, yes all of the offers were committable.

We are at 88 now and expect 4-5 spots to open up to be at either 83 or 84 by summer. So still could take 1-2 grad transfers this summer or give Wells a scholly.

Wells earned a scholarship in my mind.

He scored as many points at TQM did. Sounds like a scholarship to my mind.

OTOH, if he's already on a full ride of some kind (HOPE, academic, whatever) then maybe he doesn't care and we can keep that for someone else...?

It was a recent change. Prior to that the clock started as soon as you enrolled, so if you never enrolled in college, e.g. Weinke, you could still play. That’s no longer the case.

Here’s a link. It’s worth noting that it varies by sport, but the above applies to football and basketball.

That's interesting, I did not know that had changed.

That seems like those rules would bring up legal challenges wrt age discrimination. I get being disqualified if you tried to go pro but just blanket clock-running? That might upset some of us who were going to go back to Tech for the hell of it to play for Collins.

Any idea who the departures will be?

I don't know any specifics but I'd think there are some RJrs graduating in May who will move on.
