CPJ: I've never experienced anything like this

He said the team didn't do what they are told and it isn't my fault. Gutless.

I agree, but still think he'll get things righted. Not sure it'll be this year, but he is too good of a coach for this to continue this bad.

I still have my hope that they'll beat somebody they're not supposed to this year. We'll see.

The entire time he blamed players instead of standing up and admitting that many of the problems were created by him and his staff.

He said that it was his fault at the beginning, in the middle and the end then he explained what parts weren't working. Stop being a grumpy old man.

He made half hearted attempts to deflect criticism. He mentioned the experienced o line and then backed off it when he realized he was attacking Sewak. Most of the time he was putting it on the players and making vague references to the coaching.

Well, the players do need to play better. But they're young. And they suck. It's what's happening this year.

The OL and that OL coach of his still has no f'ing excuse.

coach makes $3 Million per year to 1) recruit the players 2) coach the players 3) win. He is not earning that money this year. Needs to take the blame for this dumpster fire.

Coach: First and foremost, this is on me.

Fan: Yeah? What about second through hundredth?

Coach: All of it. I'm the coach so it falls on my shoulders.

Fan: Oh, JUST your shoulders, huh? Not that head with the big brain you're so proud of? MAN UP.

Coach: The bottom line is that we, as a coaching staff, didn't get it done.

Fan: Your entire staff!? Why don't you call out the individual coach I'm so pissed at?

Yeah, he has said they look bad and that's on him.

Doesn't matter though, I can't see our offense continuing to be this putrid. I just don't think we can fix it fast enough to get to 6-6.

That's the shame of it really. Should've already been fixed. They're watching the game tapes over and over again. They're seeing what the defenses are doing.

Not to mention the doofus special teams play. Thank god we've got Butker.

Based on what we have seen so far this year, we weren't going to beat ND or Clemson.

Self destructing against Duke was bad, but young teams do that. Pissing away a 21 pt lead at home against UNC is the real killer.

CPJ treats his players like grown men who have expectations placed on them, and some of our fan base takes that as refusing to take any blame.

I think a lot of the disappointment this year has brought is due to our players resting on their laurels. Everyone told them how great they were and I don't think they truly put in the effort.

I'm seeing a SEVERE lack of fire/passion from this team. In the first 5 minutes of the Clemson game we had a guy tackled literally 8 yards out of bounds. Not a single man on the sideline got pissed/jumped up and down screaming for a flag or anything. They just stood there like zombies.

Our fans can talk about our opponent's defensive schemes till they're blue in the face, but this team was defeated before they even took the field.
