Last 2 games:

- 129 points
- 16 rushing TDs
- 2 defensive TDs
- 1 punt
- Scored on 17/20 drives
- Touchdowns on 16/20 drives
- 2/20 drives were victory formation meaning we’ve scored on 17/18 actual drives.
- 1086 rushing yards (9.53 ypc)
- only faced 14 third downs on those 20 drives. ABSURD.
- 10/14 on third downs - one failed conversion was a kneel
- 6/9 passing for 172 yards (19 ypa)

This is probably the best two game stretch CPJ has had at Tech - haven’t researched it. You remember 2014 when we barely pulled out the VT/Southern games at the beginning of the season when we weren’t really clicking yet? Starting to look like we are a few bounces in the early weeks away from resembling the 2014 offense/record.

Was telling my wife during the game that I was getting real 2014 vibes from this team, WRT to not doing stupid stuff on offense and the turnover production on defense. Then we kicked a 41 yard field goal. That was the magic. Just gotta hold onto it against better teams now.

This play looks familiar

Can we go in on a bartender for practices to supply cpj with stogies and comsos if he keeps up what hes doing?

that's the best thing to come out of these last 2 games. It's more of a surprise that we're now making kicks than it is our offense is amassing rushing #s vs ööööty teams.
How about 4 sacks, 12 QB hurries, 6 turnovers forced, 2 defensive TDs, a kick return TD (don't give a shit that it got called back), several kicks into the endzone, and excellent kickoff coverage? We're still not good in those areas, but we are definitely getting a lot of positive plays at the moment. That is exactly what happened in 2014.

Also a good sign.

My only concern is TQM's passing. If we can get that right, look out.
