Dabo Swinney has no class

The days of this kinda stuff being low class are long gone. Teams like Clemson need backups to run meaningful plays. I got no problem with it, and if Tech were trying to win a NC, I’d be glad we were doing it.
 
Meh. It's our job to stop them. With that being said, there will come a time when Clemson has more of a down year than we do. I would hope whoever is our coach at the time tries to hang 100 on them. Call timeout with 2 minutes and up by 90 and go for the onside kick, etc. After all, it's their defense's job to stop us.

Clemson beat CPJ his last four years as well. Once Clemson started becoming the national power they've become, they've had the ability to walk all over us pretty much every year. 2017 and 2016 we kept it reasonably close (24-10 and 26-7 respectively) but 2015 they were up 33-10 at the half and Swinney called off the dogs somewhat in the 2nd half. In 2018, they could have easily hung close to100 on us but that was the game where Trevor Lawrence came in after 2 poor series by then starter Kelly Bryant. The only score we had in the first half was when Lawrence's screen pass hit their guy in the back and we picked it up and ran it in for a score.

The difference between then and now? Dabo and Paul were friends so he didn't really try to run up the score. I think Collins' comments early on when he took over the program pissed off Dabo and he is taking every opportunity to rub Geoff's nose in it now.
 
Dabo had to get the true freshman Cade Klubnik some evaluation time. Did you see how bad their starter is? Klubnik will supplant their starter eventually this year but there has to be proof on film for team buy in. We could have actually stopped him instead of giving up the meaningless score too. This had nothing to do about running up the score or any bad blood or whatever.

That’s probably part of the reason Dabo has liked running it up on us recently.

Got to be honest I missed what CGC said about CPJ. Please enlighten me
 
We should have played our backup QB and other backups. Collins has consistently focused on limiting the loss rather than preparing for the future. If the outcome is decided, the goal should be to prepare to win future games.

We plugged short term transfers into the OL for the past three years and now we have limited OL experience in year 4.

Tech gets the ball back with around 6:26 left on the clock. Runs it 3 times up the middle and punts to basically just wrap the game up and keep everyone healthy.

First ööööhead Dabo calls timeout after Tech runs the ball on 3rd down. No ööööing class already… Then Clemson runs a hurry up offense, frequently snapping the ball with more than 20 seconds left on the play clock. On the final drive they throw the ball 6 times even though they’re up 24 in the waning minutes. I understand that they’re wanting to get the backup QB reps…but that is low class garbage. I wish a Tech player took an ACL on that final drive after that classless display. Douche Dabo can EABOD.

Joe. You should be punished severely. For wishing harm in a player. You should pray for forgiveness. Good for me that you did not say that to my face. I would likely be arrested. I have report you. This is the worse thing I have seen on Stingtalk.

Well, atleast we have class in the 4th quarter when the other team has its available starters playing and trying to move the ball and score.
