Geeemanetty! I hope they don't arbitrarily decide to pull out of a military conflict because they are concerned about injuries to soldiers. Is our military getting too soft?

We've got depth and injury problems too but I don't see us pulling out of any future games.

Lets go get a BE school next year or big 11 or 12 or whatever it is. Pitt, Syr, uconn, Rutgers.

I'll shoot myself if we schedule a loser.

You know how it works John...we will not have much of a choice at this point as most everyone has their schedules set. We may have to look at a school that has just entered D1A as they may not be set yet with a full D1A compliment...or another independent like Navy or Western Kentucky. I am just guessing at the potential options....I just know they will be slim.

I don't think the DI-A transitional teams like W. Kentucky count towards bowl eligibility.

What we might have to do, worst case, is pay a school to back out of one of their existing contracts and play us instead, which has become more common in past years.

This sucks. I already had big plans to drive out there for that weekend. What a letdown.
