Defense Line love goes here

Was a great effort. Several guys really flashed to me. Ryans obviously made several big plays late. I noticed Domineck making some good plays early as well. They really impacted the game in the 2nd half.

I rewatched the Curtis Ryan sack and strip... He beat his guy with hands, it was nice technique

Ryan also made the tackle from behind to stop the Blackmon scramble on 4th and 8

Did the press do those ACC unit rankings like last year? I wonder where FSU's OL would be ranked. The last strip it was a backup tackle getting smoked.

Was that Jahaziel (#95) that got the big lick on Blackman on the final incompletion?

My son asked me who #32 was because he played awesome. It’s Youndjouen!! The playing time these got last year was invaluable. Collins made the most of a rough season last year and today were some of the dividends.

That dude pushed a guy straight back across the whole screen on one play.

They were neck and neck with us for worst OL in ACC last year. One of the worst OL we will see this year.

Yeah I’m hesitant to say our DL/defense is back because that was likely the worst OL and possibly the worst overall offense we’ll see this year. But we were also missing some starters. So encouraging for sure.

This, I was real concerned for the season in the first few drives where FSU was actually protecting their QB. As an FSU fan growing up, I still watch them quite a bit. Blackman did a much better job of getting the ball out on time in this game than he has previously. That helped them protect him. Also, I think they're better on offense than last year and the scheme is a much better fit for their players. The OL depth caught up to them, but by the same token we were down how many DL starters ourselves.

Suspect OL under new coach getting racked with injuries sounds familiar...

Main thing I liked seeing was for the first time in forever it didn't look like we were totally outmanned athletically. FSU might be a dumpster fire but I refuse to believe they don't have any athletes left. I hope I'm not wrong. I think we have made a step change athletically. Still got work to do but promising.

Curry had a great game. Sack, tfl’s and the scoop.
