Greetings from the Sunshine state. The weather is horrible, just hot and sticky. They are callin for rain throughout the day so it's gonna be a wet field.
- We finally had a full week to prepare. Yeah we have played 3 quick games but the first game no one played that much and we had a week for this game like normal. No excuses.
- I was talking to a few Miami folks last night and they seem awfully confident down here. If you can remember over the years I've said this is the one fanbase outside UGA I can't stand. But around here it's all about the U I've already heard a few times, we had a dumb fan yell at the team already, apparently we are not on their level.
- We had a good week of practice, maybe not as sharp as we should be on offense but hopefully it looks better under the lights. The team seems jacked up for this one, they know Miami is going to come out wanting to prove something plus we have seen plenty of bulletin board material, you would think those guys would just shut up.
- We will probably sub a lot more tonight because of the weather. Look for more OL to play as well as a good rotation on D.
- While I feel like we should win this game scares me. First road game against a team with something to prove. We gotta get out to a fast start.
- I think Josh really wants to have a good game. He usually rebounds well and last game was just a disappointing performance. We need to get JD going early, it's about time for him to have a big game.
- Roddy should look better out there with the cast gone, the splint is smaller and allows a little more movement.
- Expect to see Anthony E gettin extended time at DE, the coaches were impressed by his motor last game rushing the passer.
- I expect a good game that will come down to turnovers, if we protect the ball we will win. 2 wins on national tv back to back is great exposure.
- Did I mention how much I dislike Da U fans? They are obnoxious. Hopefully we put the U is back talk to rest again.
