I hope someone can find the video and make a gif. It looked like Uga stood up on his hind legs and either growled or barked, then Bevo busted through the barricades and tried to spear him with his horns. I've never seen Uga move that fast! He actually hid and they couldn't find him at first. Let's hope the game goes the same way.

Nope he did not stand up or bark or growl. They were doing photo ops and the long horn went crazy. It did appear he was going after the little dog. He did not hide as he was on a leash therefore he never was out of sight of his handlers.

I hate Georgia as much as anyone but the little dog can’t help what silly clothes they are putting on him. He has no idea he is a mascot of any team. He is just a little dog who does what dogs do. Eat sleep and eat and sleep. He just has thousands who worship him and he doesn’t even know why or understand. Glad he wasn’t hurt.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the ncaa doesn’t ban large animals like him from attending games. Someone could have seriously been hurt. If he would have gone nuts those guys could not have stoped him.

Edited to also say that if any live animals get banned then freakin ALL of them should. The UGA attack on the AU player from years before as Exhibit ‘A’.

No reasonable person wanted any human or animal hurt. Because nothing bad happened AND the outcome of the game allows us to have some fun. Jeezus.
