Well, what in the world would you call Bill Lewis' tenure? Because that was certainly a disaster with no comparison to Gailey's stay.

PS, in order to save you typing time, may I suggest that instead of repeating the same tired ol' list of bad losses that you love to spew out two or three times in each of these threads, that you just insert "Gailey's poopoo list" and we'll all know what you mean.

I agree now if you can get GTL, RM, Buzz Z etc to forget this guy I sure to hades can forget the lost years of Gailey! Not so sure as some want to continue to love the guy.

See what I mean, read his continuing posts on Gailey

GTL Lewis is gone, Gailey is gone, Curry is gone so move on but you can't your love for Gailey is over whelming!

I think maybe we have found a home away from home here, I am going to pull my double-wide over to Off Topic, put the pickup up on blocks, the washing machine on the back porch, and sit a spell! :D

Actually, it's not my regard for Gailey that drives this, but my preference for historical accuracy.

Well GTORLANDO, i can only afford a single wide but, i will join you, some of us just dont measure up to these folks who are never wrong.:laugher:
 
When we as Tech fans experience again, heaven forbid, seasons with only one win, several losing seasons in a row, or a seven year bowl drought ('78-'85), we will remember what a football disaster really is and that Chan Gailey teams were never a disaster.

Pictures of me (and my daughter) have popped up on BBO after they were linked from our tailgating website. Posting pics of someone's kid is about as LOW as it gets.
 
i am not saying that Gailey should have been retained, all i am saying is that to say he accomplished only negative things is wrong and i dont understand why people want to insist on it so badly

maybe it was misunderstood, as when i re-read it i see how it could have been misinterpreted... it was not a threat, it was a comment about how OF has already given up about Tech and he is so negative that it seems like he should just go on over to the other side if he can get no pleasure out of supporting his supposed team

that is all

but, yes, i have been known to be a hothead and say things that get me kicked off boards...

I know you probably won't believe it, but when they did that I told them you weren't a bad guy. I threw my rocks at the Hive, but I didn't like the way they treated you.
