DJ donley to USC (east)

He's a college kid. I don't think he really knew how to eloquently talk his way out of a fan base and into another program.

DJ, I hope it works out. The Gamecocks will love the fact that you are a Clemson killer. You won that game for us this year, and I appreciate it.

This is the first I have heard about Geis back stabbing us. I am more concerned with his front stabbing us over the past few years with ZERO wide receiver development. Calvin improved because he had access to our S&C team and because he got older. But the fact that we didn't have a #2 receiver getting huge yardage Calvin's 2nd and 3rd year is ridiculous. We had the number #1 receiver in the ACC being double teamed AND the #1 running game in the ACC. Our number 2 receiver spent TWO WHOLE YEARS in single coverage!

I am still pissed!

Reggie wasn't the most accurate guy, but JJ was just as erratic in my opinion. Some games he was great, other games he would disappear.

This year we were even worse at catching the ball. Something about Geis' coaching didn't translate well to the college game.
 
after reading I think he might be referring to the fact that he isn't there yet. Not sure though
 
Because he is not enrolled in any school this semester and still has a chance of returning. The door is open for DJ at Tech, its his decision, I dont expect a decision till summer.
 
Well that's better news than I expected to hear about him.

Everyone wants him to stay, no one is putting pressure on him though. It will be HIS decision to what his future holds. He knows everyone at GT wants him back, we just gotta let him deal with what needs to be done in his life and see what decision he makes.
 
Isn't there something called "academic progress towards degree" to worry about? Wouldn't taking a semester off affect that?

Either way he probably wont be playing next season more then likely he will take a redshirt year then the next season he will also be able to have his academics back in order and be ready to go. All this is still a big IF he comes back.

Great point- We need to do everything we can to get him to reconsider.
Hell, Cremins did it to USC, time to pull the rug again
 
Folks: I'm not gonna read all of this, but I expect DJ back at Tech. His decision, but the players expect the same.
