Does buzzoff disapear when Gailey is fired?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Chan should have been fired after the 51-7 loss to Georgia. That game more than anything showed what Gailey was all about: Lack of preparation. Lack of motivation.

51-7 part 1 was the first major warning. But 51-7 part 2 should have been the final warning. If there were any Chan supporters after that point, they were either not really paying much attention to Tech sports (i.e. ignorant) or they were just being willfully obstinate (i.e. hate to admit when they were wrong).

At that point, it was time to just man up. That was really the major turning point. I think it should have been made clear at that point, if you continue to support Gailey, then you must agree to leave when he does.

Let me say that again. Another way.

If you supported Gailey after 51-7 part 2, you do not DESERVE to be a Tech fan. You should depart from any Tech event and never return at such time as Gailey is evicted from Tech's campus. You and Chan and the rest of you Gailey supporters can go play rec league football somewhere.

This is possibly the funniest sad little man rant that I've read in years.

It perfectly sums up what I can't stand about the "FOC" and the "Can Chan" crowds. In the end it was much more about being right and had next to nothing to do with Tech sports.

It's ironic, out of all the GT fans who post on message boards 'only the BuzzOffers' got it right about Chan a very long time ago.

Seems to me you should all be looking to them and reading their commentary because in the end they always had Chan's Number! GT fans warning, knowing this guy is not right says a lot about fans who care and in the end have always wanted better!

I became a BOffer after the VPI game where we had 6 three's and out in the 2nd half a few years back. Then it was followed by another 51-7 to VPI.

BO like here and the hive have some nuts, but they also have very passionate fans there. Like many I want Gailey gone. He's not for Tech maybe a NAIA team but not Tech. So hating those on BO and the board will not ease the situation at Tech only DRad can do that.

What happened to the "FACT" that Gailey told an assistant he was absolutely going to be fired at the end of the season? You sure talk a lot of crap, but when it comes time to back it up, you suddenly go away.

IW, it's not what people like BH say as much as it's the way they say it. A person can dislike another person's performance or product and still be civil about that person's character. Other posters besides the Buzzoffers had been questioning the coaching performance only they didn't stink up the internet with inane personal attacks. Tech fans should be expected to be far above that level.

Also, anyone who pulls for Tech to lose, or delights in a Tech loss, is simply not a Tech fan. Period!

See, you are 'assuming' that folks there want Tech to lose. I seriously and absolutely disagree. What I do believe is as bad as it's been, if Tech does lose, fans feel a little vindicated because it gets Chan one step closer to the door.

Therefore, losing is bad, but then it's not, under our current circumstances. Chan has had his time. Fans will always be here. Fans deserve to have a say - no matter what they say. There is no book of written rules regarding fan etiquette - especially on a message board.

Tech was suppose to be a Top 25 team this year. Lots of veteran players back, great recruiting, new OC and the program looks like a 'shell of itself' - no fan did that. No fan wishes that. No fan pays for tickets hoping for that. No fan spends their time of message boards wanting to talk about that. No fan wants to go through a 12 game season realizing that.

No, fans want it to be a whole lot better than what we have and what's been going on for 6 seasons. Everybody is discusted and rightfully so. Nobody wants the program to die. Everybody wants more success and because of frustration, dissatisfaction runs rampant - and it should. Nobody wants to watch this crap.

No matter what message board you call home - Tech fans want the best for the program and however you express it is okay because in the end - it will always be about Tech and Tech's success and that can only happen with the right coaching and leadership responsible for it - not the fans.

No need to point fingers at each other. There's only one problem with Tech football and it's not the fans.

We didn't make that up, it was a guy on CBS Sportsline. Maybe it actually happened, you never know what goes on behind closed doors.
