Domineck Gone

A common and perfectly respectable reason for grad-transferring. I'd hope a few posters would retract their hot takes.
Agreed. So many posters on here drawings conclusions about players that they know nothing about. Those same posters need to start acting like grown ass men. I'm looking at you, The Wasp. Put your big boy pants on.

Back in the portal after a really nice year at Arkansas (9.5 TFLs, 7.5 sacks, 3 FF). Imagine he’s transferring up to a top tier program. Surprised he just doesn’t take a shot at going pro.

Why doesn't he have to sit out a season? I guess because the grad transfer doesn't count as his one free transfer?

Yea, once you’ve graduated you can transfer as you please and don’t have to sit on the second transfer. I’ve seen a few instances of it happening. Will be less likely once all the 6th year nonsense washes through.

That’s not Collins fault. That’s the NCAA’s fault. There should not be free agency in CFB. The new rules of the player portal were intended to screw every middle tier program like GT and widen the gap even further between the haves and have nots. That’s going to happen to every single coach at Georgia Tech after Collins leaves.

Georgia Tech needs to break away from what is currently called college football and play against other academic schools that actually put academics first.
No

The German kid who decommitted from us and went to Michigan back in 2017 is in the portal. He's got two years of eligibility left.

Losing Jordan Domineck to the transfer portal. More great work by CGC!

Not another one!

Not sure why he’d leave Arky to come back here. My bet is he has something lined up to move upward to a better program.
Exactly. He, like so many others, saw up close and personal what a joke our program had become.

Shot I would be down for Jordan to return if he wanted to come back to play for Thacker

I didn’t realize he graduated. Well he has played for the two programs I root for. He looked good for Arkansas, Rock on young dude, have fun wherever you’ve done me good.
