Visiting these threads about big recruits announcing a decision is like entertaining yourself by sitting in front of a bug zapper with a 6-pack.

If we hang on to who we have committed, yes we did okay. But nobody is going to be a consistent national player with "okay" recruiting. DL is the most important and we got a solid looked DE (awesome) and a project at DT (we'll see). Not a ton of depth there in the class either.

DL has been and will likely continue to be the thing holding us back. We had a serviceable DL this past year, but not great - still an upgrade from what we've been trotting out there since the elite '08 DL. An intimidating DL + CPJ would be deadly.
 
Will be interesting to see the % of OL & DL we sign vs our big 5 competition.

Yeah, real nice to get GT hopes up just to be let down. Why not just announce he's going to LSU to begin with. Bunch a show boatin if you ask me. :lol:
 
Who gives a öööö about how he's gonna graduate from LSU and make 23k. We cannot ööööing recruit. And as long as we can't recruit be ready for more bowlless seasons.

The Oline talent across the country is god awful this year. You got Alabama taking multiple 3 star prospects. Campbell is LSUs ONLY non-3 star OLineman. Thats how cut throat the competition is this year for OL. Its a shame that it happens in a year where its one of our biggest needs.
 
I knew I should have doubled down on butthurt futures the second i saw that a hat ceremony was incoming. The only other hat ceremony I can think of that we "won" was Myles Autry, and butthurt futures would have even paid off there if you held long enough.
 
Why the öööö did he even öööö bother? Hell, he was an LSU commit and just essentially stayed committed to LSU.
