Met him twice in the past 10 years; always overly kind while i was around. RIP.

Why do I have to care at a he's dead? Would he have cared if any of us were dead? Why do I have to pay homage to the black hearted, cheating, SOB?

Where did I say you had to care? Thats quite the strawman to set up there my man. Saying we don't need to celebrate the death of a coach doesn't necessarily mean you have to care. Those aren't mutually exclusive concepts.....

Why wouldn't we celebrate? The man was evil. The man actively kept poor illiterate young black males illiterate so he could make money off their backs and win football games. One he was done, they were jettisoned from the program having earned their degree in "4 years of Dwag football". The man knew what he was doing. Jan Kemp exposed his evil.

My position is that his death and our reactions to it are all equally, utterly without meaning. These conditions present an excellent opportunity, for those so inclined, to say horrible things about an enemy and effectively scream the word "salt" at the wounds of anyone who cares that Vince Dooley is ööööing dead.
