The fact that Cut *might* have more NFL players than CPJ is irrelevant. What has Cut ever done in the ACC? Or in bowl games? What is his highest post-season ranking? He won the Coastal one time (2013). His bowl victories have been in the Pinstripe, Quick Lane, and Independence. So, he's done jack öööö.

THE RECRUITS care how many players we put in the NFL

You created a hypothetical above that WILL NEVER HAPPEN in CFB going forward

No team that makes the CFP and wins the CG will have a Roster with zero future NFL players on it, the days of Dodd are gone & they ain't coming back

In fact no team that wins a P5 Conference will do so with a Roster with zero future NFL Players

On another GT FB Msg Board there's a post that shows how many NFL players come from each College based on the recent NFL cutdowns

Scroll thru the list an see what 11 yrs of PJ's Recruiting has done to GT FB

We're so far down on the list we're grouped with Tulane & USF, Marshall and schools of that ilk

Take a step back and look at GT FB thru the eyes of a non-Alum or non-Fan, it's not a pretty sight

I’m still having a hard time understanding what you think is so great about Cutcliffe. Is it his total lack of success as a head college football coach?

Look where Dook is located, HS FB in NC can't support 6-7 FBS teams with 4 of them being P5

Look at Dook's FB facilities, many FCS Programs have better

Look where Dook came from FB wise, didn't Roof win like 3 games in a 3-4 yr span?

Cutcliffe went from that to going 4-1 over a 5 yr stretch vs a guy YOU THINK is a "genius" and a HoF HC

That's WHY Coach Cut gets so much respect around here, a better question is how can guys like you ignore all that and criticize him so much?

You must be tired from jumping thru all of those hoops. If Cut is so good it shouldn’t matter that there are other weak schools in the state.

My point was simply that Dook has much worse FB infrastructure and much worse FB logistics to deal with for them to be where they are and for them to go 4-1 vs us over the last 5 yrs

So it shouldn't matter if other weak schools are in Dook's state, but it does matter that only ONE other P5 school (UGA) is in our State

2 position players plus ONE KICKER is less than many FCS programs during that same 8 yr window
