If you’re honest with yourself about it, this class is very much like Paul Johnson classes. Just smaller and without the lower ranked recruits to fill in numbers. Jeff uses the transfer portal to fill out the roster instead of load up on 2 and low 3 star recruits. But the top end now is not very different than the top end of Johnson classes.

The “average “ just looks better because we take smaller HS classes.

I said "good" because it is good by historical GT standards and just because of Miles and Locket alone. By the standard Collins is trying to set? Fair. The staff did great work early and were fortunate that Pyron decommited from Baylor. It could have been excellent if we had won more games. On the other hand, it could have been worse after the way we finished.

Yes, although 41/43 is not exciting, I am glad it didn’t drop to 63.

When was the last time we signed 2 4* DTs?

Do you really think two freshman DTs are what really pushes this team over the top? How likely is it they even play next year?

All we’ve heard about the OL is that it takes 3 years to develop good starters. Decent DT athletes aren’t going to waltz in out of high school and start blowing up OLs.

Collins isn’t going to be around to see these young men probably ever play a game.

Depends on how desperate Collins gets.

I bet you’re fun at parties.

Don't keep up with recruiting or ratings but do know it is a big jump from HS to college.
