Every year it seems I can’t help myself. I watch our team, assess who we’re gaining and who we lost, what coaches have been replaced, look at our opponents, etc.

Then the practice reports start coming out and irregardless of the bad forecasts for the year and then analysis of where we stand all of that is overcome by those damned practice reports. Player X is phenomenal, player Y seems to have improved a lot with off-season conditioning, player Z has healed up, etc.

It’s happening again. Damn it if these Yellow Jackets won’t win 9 games and compete for the Coastal l. We’re gonna beat Clemp and then Old Piss and win 9 games.

Screw it. Everybody’s been wrong including myself.

They wouldn’t call it FANaticism if it was logical. How many other relationships do you have where you’re constantly let down by a person and you keep coming back to give them love and money eventhough you say you’re done? That’s what being a fan is. It’s quite normal.

Who are we losing to after beating Clemson and Ole Miss that we only end up at 9 wins?

I pray you're right. We love our team. Collins hasn't showed us anything to be excited about, but just like the Psalmist said " there maybe pain at night but joy comes in the morning." Glory!

I hope you're right. I would like nothing more than to give the "experts" a big crap burger, to eat.
 
I hope you're right, but after what I've sat through for the past 3 seasons at BDS, if we somehow pull at least 6 wins and a bowl game out of literally nowhere, I will be really pissed about not re-upping season tix this season for the first time in forever.

I'm starting to feel pretty good about getting 6 wins. There is something different about this team and I think it has a lot to do with the new coaches.
