So essentially, they promised Falcons fans first dibs over tix for everything and you believed them? Do you think that GT and Tennessee and Alabama and FSU wanted to come play in front of a bunch of disinterested Falcon's fans? Were you just buying a seat license with the hopes of putting tickets to everything on Stubhub?
 
I should point out, the crowd pinch points were a problem the ENTIRE game. Folks were coming up through portals into the seating areas (down near 304) and walking down rows to get past the pinch points in the concourses. Almost led to a fight in our area as one guy was getting tired of having to stand up in his seating area with his beer and food because so much traffic was coming through. He resorted to refusing to get up and just telling everyone to turn around and go back. Of course, security got involved. It was a mess.

Crummy stadium. The roof is an expensive gimmick.

and those stadium chairs will start breaking soon.

In 317, the lower rows could only enter on one side because they didn't bother putting stairs on the left side and have a taking up. This is because of the handicap seating area, but there was room to do it and the way it's labeled could create issues as well. iiwii

makes sense that you would like ramps, since they are for handicapped people.
 
For as much video as there was, I couldn't find running stats anywhere. Many times I wondered TOP, penalties, yardage, etc. they have enough ribbons around the upper decks that they should be able to put these things up. Then again, I was low in the corner of the "Tennessee" endzone and might not have been seeing everything.

The video boards every few minutes would show it.
 
don't know how the poors liked the nosebleads, but the view from the suite was very nice

They're being realistic about how many people want to watch soccer, I guess. Similar to how they stepped down the capacity of BDS for United games as the season went on. I'd guess they could probably sell more tickets for the early United games in the new stadium (like they did at BDS), but eventually things will settle down.

I read somewhere that they actually have a system for blocking off the upper deck for United games (not just tarping the seats, but some kind of curtains that lower into place) to make the stadium feel more intimate at lower capacity, which is a pretty cool idea.
