I haven't looked back through the pages, but did anyone else notice that WSU and OSU have filed a restraining order against the PAC12?

They want to hold back any vote to stop any voting on league matters until it can be determined who still has a vote. They don't want the rest of the teams to vote to dissolve and divide the conference assets among themselves. Instead, they want to keep the assets and try to reconstitute the conference. Good for them, I say.

Could the new PAC 12 absorb the MWC and become Washington State, Oregon State, Fresno State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Boise State, Wyoming, Utah State, Colorado State, Air Force, Nevada, UNLV, and New Mexico?

What assets do they have? The trademarks on the logo and name?

Are they going to force the MW to buy the name and then pay the departing teams? That would be a jerk move.

Ten schools have given notice that they are leaving the Pac-12 for other conferences,” the announcement reads. “According to the Pac-12 constitution and bylaws, if a member school gives notice of withdrawal, they automatically cease to be a member of the Pac-12 board of directors. Therefore, Oregon State and Washington State now constitute the entire membership of the Pac-12 board of directors.”


They might be able to do whatever they want, they should vote to change scheduling so that all of their conference games are now home games and that each of them makes the pac12 championship game regardless of record

100% home games. Revenue sharing just to those two schools. Cancel all other in conference games. Be a total asshole.
 
I found it pretty interesting that Tech was actually included in that video. Does that mean that at least some in the SEC still consider Tech a viable choice in any further expansion? If not, then I would have thought we wouldn't have been mentioned at all.
