he was recruited as a SDE (6-5, 260) but he has played tackle almost exclusively for us. They want him at DT so Gamble can play outside.
 
We need Kallon to be competent at DT this year in a big way. It gives us a 3-man rotation we could use and push Gamble back out to SDE. And obviously we're going to need him badly next season with the departures of Gotsis/JHD. He's still only been playing football a handful of years, but 3+ years in a collegiate program ought to be enough to figure out what he needs to be doing. Obviously he's a force physically - he was already there in HS.
