I'm not going to waste a bunch of time digging up old news articles, but here's one. Peterson, Stansbury, O'Leary are all responsible for that imbecile wrecking our program. Who's the most responsible, yeah the AD probably or likely. Peterson's a clown as was as bad to GT as the other clown was to football, and he had to sign off on it also but he hated GT sports to I don't think that bastard cared. O'Leary provided the necessary endorsements to get you the money people & unwitting/gullible fans behind clown.
If Saban wanted clown, he would have kept him. Have the same reservations with Key. He lost a guy to GT, seems fishy. Maybe Saban didn't care because he's got tons of qualified replacements?
I think Key's the right guy based on what he has said & done, but it would go a long way to dispelling any reservations I have if we actually look like a football team this year. The jury's out on whether Key was complicit (mostly, partially, at all, etc) in clown's BS or not. I mean you have to believe the guy in charge of ruining our OL and the AHC had no culpability for anything & clown did it all by himself as Choice and Coleman quit. Seems plausible, but some results this year will go a long way.
George O’Leary doesn’t remember who it was who recommended Geoff Collins to become a graduate assistant at Georgia Tech. It probably would have been 1999, as O’Leary was going into his fifth season at Tech, having just led the Yellow Jackets to a share of the ACC championship.
