Field looks awful

It’s all emblematic of our AA making decisions without due diligence and it reflecting poorly on our programs. They don’t spend time to do anything correct. Most of it isn’t J Batt’s fault because the ReTodd before him did it, but he needs to form a plan to change it. ReTodd is responsible for:
- Khaki Jackets because his dumbass picked an Adidas color otherwise known as “sand” for Tech “gold”
- the green basketball court (which they could have figured out before painting the entire court had they just done some due diligence)
- The shag carpet football field that looks like absolute ass on tv and in person.
-Gef
- extending Pastner when we had good grounds to get rid of him without a buyout

Dude, it stood out yesterday on TV. I got home at 130 or so from morning responsibilities and turned the game on. At first I thought it was my internet connection resulting in poor resolution. But obviously that wasn’t it. It was tough to watch, it really was. Later I had the option on watching on my phone when I had to take my kids out versus just listening on the radio and I just listened on the radio. Also, Joe Ham’s general disgust captures our sentiment better than generic ACCN turds. Maybe I haven’t watched a home game on TV in a while and it’s always been like that, but yesterdays TV experience was unwatchable.
 
Part of me is glad the field is so terrible it matches the product on the field.. this team would be embarrassing to the original real grass

Another thing. There was an announcement that there was some sort of southeast end zone area that was supposed to be for hanging out or something. Can't remember what. Despite the fact that that is the absolute worst place in the stadium to have that, it is in the opposing fan area, it looked empty down there other than a Hyundai on a pedestal. Did I imagine something supposed to be there?

I'd have been able to see the field better with our natural grass. Here is the junk yesterday

Late arriving crowd. LW looked good followed by LE then UW. The upper east is gonna be bright red November 25th a long with the upper north.

Even Bobby Dodd Stadium needs a good menstruation every other year to rid itself of toxins. Maybe the chicks in the team will actually show up for 60 minutes for that one.

I will be there watching them mutts file out midway through the 4th quarter once we have an insurmountable lead
 
watched few plays on DVR to see what field looked like on TV ... at best it looks odd.

I believe we got rid of the brown coconut stuff and replaced it with rubber this year, didn’t we?

As bad as the field looks, I didn’t think it looked any worse yesterday than it’s been looking.

The grass on the baseball field looked gorgeous when I walked by it after the game…

The field looked particularly ööööty and atrocious yesterday. Was one of the first things I noticed. It literally looked like a bad 80s astroturf carpet. ööööing horrible. The best I can figure is that they took the complaints about it looking brown in the beginning of the season, made an effort to clean that up, and completely ööööed it up even more.

Everything about the experience yesterday seemed even more cracker jack than usual. Our PA sucks, and is ridiculous. The constant blaring of horrible music in every last second of empty space. We should not be regressing in all these things but we are.

The PA even started playing the crap music before the Budweiser song was even done. We were like - seriously? WTF? Can’t they align the times between the band and the PA so it’s not going over each other? It can’t be that difficult….
 
The real problem is that our AA and game day staff is filled with a bunch of people who are not Tech fans and do not give AF about whether Tech wins or loses, whether Tech looks good, or whether the fans are happy with product or production. They are a bunch of athletic bureaucrats. Go somewhere like uga, and their staffers are all uga fans and care about the outcome.
