He's fine as a position coach. He's in way over his head as a head coach. All the offseason talk about the coaches "knowing" something good was on the way this year, and it was all hot air. The only thing we appear to have improved on is dumb penalties. All the other problems remain.

At least with The Citadel we had an excuse that it was his first year. Losing to a winless NIU team that gave up a minimum of 30 points per game last year, in your 3rd year, at home, is inexcusable.

I was super excited when he was hired but he’s proven to be all style and no substance.
