The fact that Miami is still behind uga is garbage at this point. While I think Mario C will still manage to eff it up before the final CFP field is announced, Miami is unbeaten and hammered a common opponent who was healthy in UF.
No way you actually watch these games and think that.

Ummm considering I’ve said the refs aided wins against Cal, VT says otherwise. And while Miami struggled with those 2 teams, uga struggled with a terrible UK team (UK had a pick 6 called back on a controversial call) and struggled against a depleted UF team with a walk-on 3rd string QB yesterday in Jax.

So based on beating Texas in your mind makes uga that much better than Miami? I see 2 very flawed teams (Miami D, uga QB and skill position WR, TE’s). So the variable is, 1 has an L, the other doesn’t.

Until Mario screws it up, Miami has the best O in the country right now.

It’s one official dildo’s official unofficial list. I’d show you mine but it’s still in its unofficial phase officially

And also maybe the worst D. Play calling has been a little suspect this year (more than suspect at times) but if Buster and whoever our QB is has a decent game, we should have opportunities. I know CBK wants to run the ball and control TOP, but the Miami passing D gets absolutely gashed downfield... it's their biggest weakness. We have to take shots, and we have the speed and passing ability to do it.

Statistically speaking, our passing D is identical to Miami's (170/172 completions; 213/215 passing yards per game given up, etc.). But there is one glaring exception: we have 2 interceptions and they have 13.

I'm not defending our D. My only point is there are scoring opportunities on Miami's D, and every game theirs that I've watched has shown that. Hell, this past weekend Duke was right there until rolling over when UM went up by two scares on them late, and they literally gave up on the game.

Edit to add: On the other side of the ball, if you think our D is going to keep Cam Ward & Co under 21 points you're wrong. Guy has been the best QB in the league all year. So we either take our chances in this game on both sides of the ball, or just don't show up.

Agree all the way. I think I said elsewhere that we have to break 40 to have a shot at winning.

Six of Miami's seven FBS opponents have surrendered a season high score to Miami. F$U surrendered a few more points to SMU.

I also pointed out that I think we need to be +3 in TO margin.

Of course, we could go the Mickey Andrews route and get a look at UM's backup QB.
