Wow. I looked it up and the longest drive ever was 14:26, by Navy in 2004 when Johnson was there

By the way I feel like the announcers said our drive today was the second longest in GT history??
Yup, longest one was all the way back in 2009.

The fact that Miami is still behind uga is garbage at this point. While I think Mario C will still manage to eff it up before the final CFP field is announced, Miami is unbeaten and hammered a common opponent who was healthy in UF.

I think both teams are jockeying for position for Shreveport. Buckle up.

It was a great job. Not sure we'd pull it off against a Notre Dame or Georgia though. Miami's defense isn't that good, judging from their points allowed this season.
justafan,

Coming into the Tech game, Miami was one of just six teams to rank in the top 20 in both total offense (#1) and total defense (#19). The Hurricanes ranked first in the ACC in both categories - total offense and total defense. They were best at defending the run, which made Tech's 271 rushing yards even more impressive against the Canes.

As for their offense, the Hurricanes rank No. 1 in all of FBS in total offense, averaging 556.9 yards per game. And yet, the Jackets held them to under 500 total yards and 23 points. The fewest points the Canes scored in game prior to the Tech game was 36.

Therefore, what Tech accomplished on Saturday, on both sides of the ball, was quite impressive! Thank you, Louis Riddick, for acknowledging the great job Tech's coaching staff and players did on Saturday.

GO JACKETS!
