who think that a win like the one GT had against Clemson and the general play GT had in that game won't win championships....your wrong for the most part.
Back in Ohio State's last championship when they beat Miami, take a look at their wins:
Vs. Unranked Cincinnati: 23-19
Vs. Unranked Wisconsin: 19-14
Vs. Unranked Perdue: 10-6
Vs. Unranked Illinois:23-16
That was four close games against unranked opponents with much less talent than that Clemson team we played on Thursday.
Another example: 2004 USC:
Vs. Unranked Stanford 31-28
Vs. Unranked California 23-17
Vs. Unranked Oregon St. 28-20
Vs. Unranked UCLA- 29-24
There again are some pretty close games against unranked opponents.
At the end of the day they got the W, just like GT did, and won the national championship. That's all that matters at the end of the day..."W".
