Former Tech QB balling out in his bowl game

It was weird that PJ basically died on a figurative hill with Taquon as QB rather than Graham or Lucas. He never gave either of those 2 players a chance to unseat dawg fan TQM and both had better arms and couldn't be any worse at mesh-reading than QB-Keeper TQM.
Graham was a true freshman in 2018 and Lucas Johnson missed the whole season with a foot injury. It's weird that you still have this personal vendetta against Paul Johnson 3 years after he left the program, and I expect you will bitch about him until you are 6 feet under. It's a very unhealthy obsession that's obviously clouding your ability to remember basic facts, you should try letting it go.

Way to ignore the disastrous 2017 season that he should've gotten a LOT more playing time in.

And so what if Graham was a frosh in 2018? So was Tua when he came in on 2nd and 28 to put a hobnail boot in the asses of dwag fans. Both Lucas and Graham should've been given more opportunities than they rec'd.

He started out this year as the backup out at SDSU.
He looked like a bona fide QB1 last night tho.

Interesting. It looks like he got his first start in a big upset win over Utah. It is not hard to believe there are 2nd stringers across the country that could have started for us though in more than one position.

You know Tua wasn't the starter right??

what part of "nor was Tua when he came in and threw 2nd and 28" is causing you confusion?

Tua was given an opportunity - something PJ didn't give either of these guys.

You must like being wrong. He got to play for PJ; but maybe you should wonder why he didn't get more playing time for GT in 2019, 2020, and this year.

You must like revisionist history. Playing 9 snaps as a PK holder in 2017 isn't really 'playing for PJ' in any sort of meaningful sense. You just can't bring yourself to admit that maybe St. PJ wasn't the Perfect HC you dream about each night when you close your eyes.

I don't wonder why anyone who transferred last season (Graham) didn't get more PT for GT in 2021 nor why Lucas transferring 2 years ago didn't play for us this year. Nor should you.
