CPJ went ballistic on that one. Not only was he out of bounds, but he was across the line to gain for the first down. One way or the other the clock should have stopped.

You are correct. The discretionary fund donations are not earmarked, capital plan donations are targeted. The same is true for scholarships. If you place any prerequisites on a scholarship (like the SA must be in a certain major, or a minority for example) they cannot be used for any other purpose, unless permission is asked and given.

Pffffffft. Good luck with that. While really pissed off at Bobinsquatch (and carrying that over to the early Stansbury era), I changed all my GTAA donations to go to permanent endowment only. It was only when I was mailed my year end A-T summary that I noticed that every single year the money was washed into the Athletic Scholarship Fund.

How you say it may be how it should work, but it damn sure wasn't the case under Bobinsquatch or Stansbury. I wouldn't put it past J Batt to do the same.
