We've still got 2 OOC spots to fill for 2012, and 1 for 2015.

reactions?

Pretty awesome to see Alabama, Auburn, USC, and Syracuse on there.

Looks good. We get Georgia plus "someone else pretty good but traditionally not as good as Georgia" in essentially every year, plus a couple of stat padders. I like it.

Someone from the west coast could have been kind of fun, like a UCLA or Oregon, but I'm sure that's pretty cost prohibitive. Or one of the Texas schools, if that recruiting pipeline didn't dry up with Gailey's departure.

I wonder what kind of state the Syracuse program will be in by 2015. You have to figure we'll be playing in numerous major bowl games by then so the dome won't psych us out.

Don't get ahead of yourself. You sound like Taylor Bennett after the BC loss.

I personally love all the SEC match ups. I would have liked a Pac 10, Big 12, or Big Ten team thrown in there instead of Sy. we have played them plenty of times.

Just reviewed Gardner Webb's entire history. They have played but one DI school. One. We are the 2nd. Ever.

Good grief.

Well at least we are playing them on Thursday so ESPN can... oops, never mind. Maybe we can play them at 10:00 am on Tuesday.... at Rose Bowl field... or in the AMC parking lot.

Wow, that's a really really good idea, Hey Drad we got us a smart one here.

It's hard to schedule people when you can't give them a home & home.

The game we were replacing was an away game at Army, so it was a perfect opportunity for Dan to schedule a good series against a real team by offering an away game for 2008 in return for a home game later.

Instead he insisted on converting the away game to a home game and that's why we had to settle for a garbage game.

Schedule an away game to get a home game back 8 years later?

Away games with good teams don't make us any money. This solution won't pack the stadium, but it will give us a good revenue boost for the year.

Georgia figures to be pretty good next year.

Yep, they're going to be a whole lotta good next year. As much as I hate to say it, this may be one of their strongest teams in a while. They're actually going out west of the Mississippi for an OOC game for a change next year. Let's hope they lose a couple early games and have their hearts broken.

Forget losing games early. I hope they go undefeated and number 1 right up to the 29th. That way we get to take them down on our own.

Of course, I would be just as happy if they lost every single game they played.
