I certainly like navy, and I even don’t mind the look of the navy pants with the navy jerseys, but I think your rule is certainly a reasonable one. It seems weird to sing “Up with the White and Gold” if either of those is not featured in the uniform in a meaningful way (ie the MAIN color of the helmet, Jersey or pants—not just trim). But visually, I still think these look sharp.

I'm guessing those are a result of playing during breast cancer awareness month. Which makes me wonder why isn't there a testicular cancer awareness month? Or a prostate cancer awareness month?

Geoff decided that a light and smoke show was more important than tradition. So for his first few games, the Reck came out of the tunnel with a bunch of cheerleaders running behind it in an anticlimactic scene to basically get it out of the way. No banner, etc. Then we had to sit through dj crap and a light tunnel display before the team ran out through a smoke and light show. Minutes after the Reck was out and parked.

People bitched. A lot. So they reduced the time between the Reck and team (and falsely told us that it was a technical error for the first few games), but it’s still not the same. The focus now is of course on Geoff’s gimmicky bullshit hype stuff.

We can’t get rid of him fast enough. The question is whether the traditions are lost or will come back.
