Gameday unis

I think the AA put us in G-B-B expecting us to get blown out. The G-B-B look becomes a bit of a camouflage tactic so that when a casual fan is walking through a sports bar and sees Clemson wailing on someone, it isn't obvious it is GT. The dumb part is that after we win tonight that same casual fan won't remember who beat Clemson.

So for his first few games, the Reck came out of the tunnel with a bunch of cheerleaders running behind it in an anticlimactic scene to basically get it out of the way. People bitched. A lot. So they reduced the time between the Reck and team (and falsely told us that it was a technical error for the first few games), but it’s still not the same. The focus now is of course on Geoff’s gimmicky bullshit hype stuff.

We can’t get rid of him fast enough. The question is whether the traditions are lost or will come back.

Buzz no longer comes on the field, and the team doesn't have players carrying the US and Georgia flags anymore either.
 
It’s GAMEDAY. Let’s not complain about uniforms and support the team.

GWG, with a throwout to WGW (Calvin) and mebbe GBW (1990) every now and then. Otherwise GWG but I wouldn't mind seeing WWG from the Dodd era here and there. But the almost solid blue stuff is sacrilege. What's next? Black sox?
 
Was hoping to update my gold polo today. Most everything at bookstore was navy. But today I’ve seen tons of CU orange, purple and white.

Not exactly uni related but damn this should be basic stuff.

I don’t like to see us in navy, but I did think the uniforms looked pretty good for what they were last night. Better than the G-B-G or G-B- W, anyway.
