Let me translate that:The Gator Bowl is "very interested" in joining the SEC bowl lineup from 2010 to '13 if the game can secure a time slot during the Capital One Bowl and a top-five pick of the league's teams, Gator Bowl President Rick Catlett said Tuesday.
In other news, I'm very interested in spending an intimate evening together with Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and a donkey at the Clermont.
Did anyone see the ACC championship game crowd the last two years? Not to mention the Gator Bowl crowd. I don't blame them.
As long as ACC teams don't have good showings at the major bowl games, bowls such as the Gator Bowl will start to shop around. The bowl games only care about the # of tickets sold because all that matters is money to them. This is one of the many reasons the bowl system will never be completely overhauled into a playoff system: money.
If the ACC loses the Gator it would be terrible. Outside of the Orange Bowl and Peach Bowl the Gator is the only decent bowl game the ACC has. What bowl could we possibly pick up that would even be close to the prestige of the Gator. While the Gator is not the best Bowl it is far better than we could get with the current perception of the ACC.

The Gator Bowl is "very interested" in fleecing money from the bat**** insane people who follow SEC teams, Gator Bowl President Rick Catlett said Tuesday.

Let's get the Sun Bowl, great trip and maybe the alamo bowl against that group. big 12 or something like that. great recruiting as well.
I know there is now a Big 12 tie in inder certain conditions- they ought to use that solely and drop the Big Least tie-in.
I hate Jacksonville. Hate it.
Looks like that may be happening...

Can't say the 4th or 5th best Big 10 team excites me that much.
