Geoff Made Me a Loser

Total bullshit. If we didn’t have CPJ it would have been as is it now, only a decade earlier.

He was the right coach at the right time and brought some great football to the flats. So many people were bitching for his head, well you got it and the team had sucked since. And not going to get any better with Coach Collin Part 2
We definitely had some great times with PJ but the suck started before he left.

I would say that the blocking rule changes caught up with him. The big one that, changed the direction that A-backs could cut, around 2015 or so really hurt. PJ's biggest issue at the end was keeping B-backs in school. I think Graham would have been a very nice spread option QB.

Geoff is a ööööing loser

In case you can’t tell, if you click on the photo, Geoff liked the tweet. How anyone thinks the Tech offense is bad is beyond me. Sometimes metrics are bullshit.

Somebody tell Gef that we’re still better than we ever were under his stupid tippy-toe combover capri-wearing ass.

At this point, whatever that m----- ------ clown says or does or likes or tweets just doesn't register. He's ded to me.

That metric is a team stat and not offense (why they titled it "total scoring efficiency" is beyond me). That metric is essentially points per play offense minus points per play defense.

Our defense is so bad, it makes our overall efficiency bottom in FBS.

BCF Toys has a similar metric and is the net ppoints per drive: https://www.bcftoys.com/2023-ppd/
Can see we are overall ranked 94th, with a ridiculous 3.48 defensive points per drive.

Our offense is good until it gets to the red zone. And then it has a tendency to bog down. In the Ole Miss game, red zone issues were heightened by what appeared to be avoiding the FG team at all costs after the block.

I agree with all of that but at the end we still had defenses that were sieves. I will forever believe our opposition negatively recruited against us on the D side by asking them (after asking them about the Calc book) do you want to practice all the time against that O?.

It's hard to win and stay on top for a long time. Bama and Clemson are having issues. You can't stay on top forever. UGAY looks vulnerable and was losing at home a season after their Natty. Dook is moving into the upper tier of the ACC. F$U almost got taken down by BC if it wasn't for 18 penalties. The Pac-12 who everyone wrote off as weak competition looks to be stronger than the SEC right now. Craziness and unpredictability.

Things come in cycles. We'll have our time again but it's going to take time and things to happen at the right place and time also. No injury bugs either. I too remember the days of consistency that we would see historically. CFB is much different now than it was in the 70s-early 2000s. With the portal, a team can literally change their roster in one season if you sign the right players.

I would sacrifice all my toes to have Bama and Clemson's "issues."

SEE GOL after Bill Lewis era...

If we are not Chanesque by the end of 2024, it's never going to happen..

Yeah. I suppose when you look at it, being the #14 offense in the country and having the #9 worse scoring offense are opposite
