Georgia Tech -6.5 vs BC

BC is a big team. Tough to push around.

They do get penalized a lot…maybe we can implement some hard counts.
They've won some squeakers against inferior teams, but also played FSU tough to the end. They'll definitely be up for our game also as they are in the same situation. This game likely is the hinge on whether they make a bowl or not also. Homecoming game for Castellanos, he'll be pumped up. We better be focused.

Honestly, it might be best if the Jackets just forfeit. Maybe BC will feel sorry for us like Miami did and just hand us the game. Other than that, I don't see any hope.
"I feel bad for you, so let me do you a favor. All you need to do is go 75 yards in 26 seconds and you can have the win. It's that easy."

He loves to call us the "bad-luck-blue-jackets." Guess he forgot about the ass-whippin we gave UNC last time they came to Atlanta:

This was the last time we won wearing Blue jerseys, 2 years ago
Since then we have lost all 5 times we've worn Blue jerseys

And we won like 3 in a row in blue before that but he was already calling them the "bad luck blue jackets."
You're right, we did win 4 in a row including 2021 UNC (2019 NC St, 2020 UL, & 2020 Duke).
Before 2019 NC St, we lost in blue Adidas jerseys to 2018 Clemson, 2018 Minnesota, and 2019 Pitt.

So it's been very streaky.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought that the consensus was that our lack of wins in blue jerseys has more to do with the times of the games in which we are playing, the ambient temperature at field level, and more importantly the networks on which we are televised. Our losing record in those games is less likely related to the uniform colors, and even less likely tied to our inconsistencies as a developing team or our execution of our schemes.

This is the way. I think a lot of it had to do with what underwear I had on that day too.

Focused and disciplined, as Castellanos is a runner, as well. Type of guy that has given us fits in the past.

I think they're looking past us to UConn on 10/28.

ETA: Whatever is said of those blue unis, they are not navy blue.

we wore navy blue jerseys against Nebraska in the 91 citrus bowl

Indeed we did! And on that day that was the most glorious day to be a Tech fan, the only negative comments I heard all day around my seats in the Citrus Bowl were that folks hated we were in the blue jerseys and had hoped Nebraska would wear red so that we would have worn gold/white/gold. Other than that there were no complaints.

I was there as well. Will never forget seeing William Bell bounce off a tackler and break that long TD run to put the game out of reach. What a great day!

That’s the day I realized I was finally a grown up. I sat in the stands and watched other people tear down the goalposts.

That was the only sad part of the day.
