How are they not navy blue?

Compare to the above photo. The ones now appear to be a lighter shade.

They've won some squeakers against inferior teams, but also played FSU tough to the end. They'll definitely be up for our game also as they are in the same situation. This game likely is the hinge on whether they make a bowl or not also. Homecoming game for Castellanos, he'll be pumped up. We better be focused.
Agreed

FWIW, that is not the color of the U.S. Navy dress blue uniform. For all practical purposes, the Navy dress blue is actually black. From Wikipedia:

I think we can and should be the better team than BC and have a great opportunity to come out with a W on Saturday, but any of you that think it will be a cake walk might want to take a look at their offense against F$U... It will be a shootout at best if our D doesn't show up.

True Navy Blue has always been so dark that it looks black but one can tell it is blue under the right light.

Saturday's TV play by play: Chris Cotter. Tech grad.
Saturday's color anaylst: Mark Herzlich. Former BC player.

Let's let them arm wrestle it out and we can start day drinking earlier.

Why do the 1990 ones look SO much better?

Ask Mississippi State what they thought of our blue jerseys at the Orange Bowl.

Just no more black jerseys, mmm kay?
We’re talking about at Bobby Dodd stadium. The bad-luck-blue jackets always lose at home at Bobby Dodd. Always. :ugh: :eekfacepalm: :eek2:

If Tech wears it white shirts, yellow britches, the Yellow Jackets will win.:first:

Navy Blue is a color separate from the US Navy although it did originate with the Navy. That color swatch is the official "Navy Blue" hue.
