Georgia Tech Athletics Unveils Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Pledge

I had forgotten what the Total Person Program was, so I Googled it and up came this picture . . .

Seems the most important part of the Total Person Program is the legs.

Fwiw every university is generating this right now, they all hired someone (he/his/they/her/she/it) who’s full time job is writing this and conducting workshops.

This is the grand plan that higher education administrators have for pacifying the liberal arts majors that graduated with worthless degrees unable to pay back their student loans because they are essentially unemployable. Got it.

Some of y'all seem a bit triggered about this. It's basically a $5 button you can buy and wear if you want to show support for diversity, equity, and inclusion. No one is making you do anything or imposing any politics on you. If you don't like it don't buy the button.

GT could do no different. They have to pander to young people who make decisions based on pretty stupid öööö.

This is a nothingtaco.

I’m as tired of the social justice stuff as anybody, but my impression of the statement (putting aside the larger cultural context that prompted its creation) was that it was pretty bland and inoffensive. It didn’t really say much of anything. I guess I was a little relieved that it wasn’t more in your face.
